The Borders Project
The Borders Project is a series of events and performances that challenge the histories and effects of borders, how they are constructed, who profits, who suffers and why.
Started by DNAWORKS’ co-directors Adam McKinney and Daniel Banks, the project has traveled throughout the world looking at these implications in a myriad of contexts and cultures. When the project traveled to the physical border of El Paso, TX and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico in July 2015, Sandra Paola Lopez was brought in as a producer, researcher and performer and now is excited to continue furthering the project.
Listen to an interview with Sandra Paola, Adam and Daniel. about the Border Project's work in the El Paso and Ciudad Juarez here. |
