solo work

My practice at its core is grounded on investigating the body, the information it stores, and how I can activate and get access to it. This requires a diligent solo practice that digs deep at the possibilities of the body and that acknowledges who I am and where I come from.

This research is centered on improvisation practices that continuously call upon me to investigate my body and how it moves. The most salient influences in this work are Action Theatre, Ensemble Thinking and Africana dance practices.
