Social practice

My artistic work is tightly weaved with my commitment to social justice and transformation. In my dance and performance works, I strive to push my creative process to be radically integrated with my community organizing and to only make work that is healing in its process and product.

As a community builder I consider myself a cultural organizer, which I describe as someone who organizes community to create culture and creates culture to organize community.
